Unplanned Weekend
Brian arrived Friday morning and we decided to go to my parents' vacation home in Door County. We had planned to go to a monster truck race but it got cancelled. My parents were going to watch a golf tournament but it looked like rain here. We had a nice sunny weekend in Door County - going out to eat, to the pool and just relaxing. Most of all we enjoyed Brian's company after 2 weeks apart.

Hi Laura, Glad to hear you guys had such a nice relaxing weekend. It's turned sooo hot in St. Louis! Saturday Mike took Brian to see the new movie "Space Chimps." While the boys went to the movie, Allie and I just went to lunch and grocery shopped. All of us went into the kids pool on Sunday it was so hot! I'm looking forward to seeing your parents this weekend. They don't know it yet ( I need to email your dad), but I'm going to have them come over to my house and advise me on how to proceed with painting/decorating our two bathrooms and for tiling our backsplash. Once I get those projects done, them I'll be happy with the house!
